" liberated from freedom of the press and freedom of assembly"

Oh yeah, the word I was trying to remember was "sedition" Is THAT word in your dictionary? Are you complaing about Al-Sadr's paper, or are you just talking out your ass?

...yeah, thought so...

(why did I keep reading the idiocy, this material is too easy to knock out of the park)

Al-Sadr can cry me a fucking river if he thinks I'm gonna let him keep printing his bullshit.

So I'm wondering wtf lewrockwell.com is
He keeps linking to stupid shit like this:

The Top 19 Dumbest Statements of the Week, by Harry Browne

19. "Iraq will either be a peaceful, democratic country, or it will again be a source of violence, a haven for terror, and a threat to America and to the world."

Right now Iraq is "a source of violence" and certainly "a haven for terror." Or are all those bloody scenes we see on television just reruns from Miami Vice? And, of course, Iraq was never a threat to the America.

Are you unable to differentiate present from future tenses? Are you that stupid?

(I need new blog software to properly format my disgust.)

The sound of rockets in the morning
"The Coalition's loss of the most basic of all possible military necessities -- the security of its own supply, not to mention escape, routes says everything about the terrible mess it now finds itself in."

...and yet you say nothing at all...

After the final collapse, earlier this year, of the case on weapons of mass destruction,

...you're shitting me, right? Damn I must have slipped into an idiot-blog...So a two-car garage's worth of weapons hidden in a desert, or perhaps carted off to Syria...yeah, THAT should be easy to find...

Oh, we're just forgetting that whole "harboring terrorists" thing on this corner of the internet. Aiding and abeeting nor incitement are ever a crime in your world, eh?

the events of the last ten days have ruthlessly stripped away all Whitehall’s and Washington’s other remaining fantasies, deceptions and pretences about Iraq: that the situation is ‘gradually improving’, that the Iraqi people welcome us, that the resistance is confined to ‘international terrorists’ and Baathist ‘remnants’ determined to recapture the golden days of Saddam. These must be the world’s only known ‘remnants’ which grow bigger every week.

My God, there's just too much to fisk here.

Big Tornado in Utica today...that and they mentioned abrupt climate change...North Atlantic current getting jammed up by melting ice...then you'd think the ensuing freezing my slow the loss of ice, but hey, what do I know?

weird indeed

My Way - News
"'People have a feeling of injustice. What's more, they see (Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon acting as he pleases, without the Americans saying anything. He assassinates people who don't have the planes and helicopters that he has.'"

Hey Mubarak, if Hamas et. al. weren't killing civilians who don't a planes and helicopters, then they wouldn't have a problem. But this war that has been going on for decades will come to an end. Israel will make it so. They are the only ones who are willing, and who *can* end it. They are the ones being attacked, they are the ones who are defending. and if the "Arab Street" doesn't know the truth. You can thank *your* complicit media...You can tell the truth or you can tell lies...

I wonder which side of that line *you* are on?

Israel says such killings are self-defense. But Mubarak said the assassination of Rantissi could have "serious consequences" and that instability in Gaza and Iraq would not serve U.S. or Israeli interests.

"self-defense" is a short phrase. "self-defense" as a -phrase- is easy to attack...perhaps Reuters should have said: "Israel says that killing those who direct the murder of its civilians is self-defense."

Do you have a problem with that?

Do you not plan for the usurper yourself? Do you care what he is called by, or is it enough that he is a threat? And you DO deal with threats, now don't you?

"'He was in with the fraternity crowd,' Scott says. 'He was not interested in politics at that stage of his life.' "

I'm glad our president was more interested in life than living the life of politics, passing law "for the good of the people" like someone else I know.

Clinton met with Tenet twice during his tenure, how much time did he spend with Monica Lewinski?

"Thereafter, these historical lessons should have been clear to citizens of any liberal society: we must neither presume that comfort and security are our birthrights and are guaranteed without constant sacrifice and vigilance, nor expect that peoples outside the purview of bourgeois liberalism share our commitment to reason, tolerance, and enlightened self-interest."

Kerry Dismisses Critics of Time That He Took Off Campaigning
Mr. Kerry apparently meant John XXIII, as there is no Pius XXIII.

Let's be straight here, Kerry doesn't seem to me to be a practicing Catholic. He's just a guy on the street, trying to make his fame through politics and his money through marriage. Does he act like a man filled with "religion"?

I guess sometimes you just have to wonder. Is it wrong to wonder if he is a man of God, or not? I tend not to think so.

Was this a "personal" attack? OR are we not allowed to ponder these questions?
