New Iraqi police unit uses old tactics
Kamal did not mince words about why this operation was conducted so ruthlessly.
The Iraqi police have been constant targets for both criminals and insurgents. As the top spymaster in Iraq, he wants everyone to know that while due process and courts will be used to pursue those who make Iraq unsafe, he is also involved.
"This is a new kind of operation for a new Iraq, this is a new war by a new government," Kamal said. "Those who kill Iraqi police, the Iraqi people, our allies or American soldiers cannot escape my punishment."

The sexual repression of women really IS deviant. I'm thining societies that do it...that is...
Google Search: "Jim Edgar" Illinois home page
I'd like to email him
Hey Jim, Ryan's name is getting bigger and bigger.
how can this be?
and you KNOW an overnight poll will give a goofy result one way or the other...Obama is a good man, but you need to call him out on his views instead of wondering whether husband-wife insanity trumps real world problems...
...and solutions.
Yahoo! News - RNC Statement on Al Gore's Speech Today
"WASHINGTON, June 24 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Following is RNCs statement on Al Gore (news - web sites)'s Speech today:
'Al Gore's history of denial of the threat of terrorism is no less dangerous today in his role as John Kerry (news - web sites)'s surrogate than it was in the 1990s in his role as Vice President, a time when Osama Bin Laden was declaring war on the United States five different times,' said RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke.

Spinning 9/11
The press ignores the commission's most interesting findings.
We thought everyone had learned the hard way on 9/11 that the greatest security danger comes not from taking threats too seriously but from dismissing them too easily. Apparently some people have forgotten that lesson already.
Wayne Dyer - Get Ego Out of the Way
"GET EGO OUT OF THE WAY"
I once asked Abraham Maslow, "What do you mean when you say self-actualization?" He said, "There are just two things to remember: One is to learn to become independent of the good opinion of other people, and the second is to master the art of being detached from the fruits of your labors."

Aljazeera.Net - Palestinians reject Arab 'security role'
"'Sharon is engaging a tactic of throwing the ball into our court by proposing the withdrawal from Gaza as a political accomplishment when it is really a part of a larger plan for reorganising the occupation and expanding the settlements in the West Bank.' "
So they're leaving because they want to come back?

lgf: 21st Century War
It occurs to me that the high Intenity propoganda won't make a damn bit of difference...The White House isn't going to change its tact because an AP writer...he's a stupid fucking reporter anyway...
...and why, you may ask, willl it take so long to fight this war?
Because we don't have unity of purpose. We don't have a press that actually wants to win this war. WE don't have a party out of power that wants to help pull the rest of our country in the direction of winning this war...That, Mr. Kerry, is why you are an unpatriotic SOB. Your and your party's reticence to engage fact is appalling. Your ilk really are a bunch of tools...Your only hope is to step back and let the ideologies of Miller or Lieberman step forward...
...and you know you won't...
So welcome to the club of forgotten presidential candidates. I hope you enjoy the ignomy. History is never kind to fools.
People are trying to kill us, and you're playing politics.
